Important Instructions for admission in Ph.D.-First Year 2024-25, July Session

  • [1] Admission is open to the Indian Nationals who have passed/appearing in the qualifying examination, fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
  • [2] The candidate should fill up the On-line application form any place through Internet by login on to https://mmmutadm.samarth.edu.in/2 024/ from 05 June 2024 (08.00 AM) till 28 June 2024 (11.55 PM) as per the detailed procedure given on the website.
  • The last date for applying through online portal for MET-PhD-2024, July Session, has been extended from 28 June 2024 (11.55 PM) to July 02, 2024 (11.55 PM).
  • [3] Mode of Admission:
    • A. Full time Research Scholar with University Fellowship: A research scholar in this category works full-time for his/her Ph.D. He/she will be eligible to receive assistantship/scholarship from the University.
    • B. Admission to PhD Programme 2024-2025 under Visvesvaraya PhD scheme for Electronics and IT: Phase II:
    • The major features of the scheme for the Visvesvaraya PhD scheme with Fellowship are Rs. 38,750/- per month in 1st and 2nd year and @Rs. 43,750 per month in 3rd ,4th and 5th years of Ph.D. (support till PhD completion or 5 years whichever is earlier).
    • C. AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) for PhD students: Admitted in the upcoming session 2024-25 (Odd Sem) MET-PhD-2024 Entrance Exam. Detailed information is provided through given Link:

    • D. Self-financed: Self-financed research scholars will support themselves. University will not provide scholarship to such candidates.
    • E. Sponsored: A research scholar in this category is sponsored by a recognized R&D organization, Academic Institution, Government Organization, or Industry for doing Ph.D. in the University on a full-time basis. The University shall not provide any assistantship/ scholarship
  • [4] The candidate must himself/herself ensure his/her eligibility to appear in the respective entrance test of a particular Program.
  • [5] Commencement and Last date for applying through online portal for MET-PhD-2024, July Session, Date is from 05 June 2024 (08.00 AM) till 28 June 2024 (11.55 PM) as per the detailed procedure given on the website.
  • [6] The candidates who are not domicile of U.P. will be eligible to take admission against general (open) category only.
  • [7] The reservation policy as prescribed by the U.P. State Government shall be applicable for admissions of UP domicile candidates only.
  • [8] Candidates are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 2,500/- (Non-Refundable).
