Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology Gorakhpur. We started our journey in the year of 1962. Over the years, we have grown our expertise and competence in the core of Mechanical Engineering Curriculum and Research. We are offering B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 120 approved intake, M.Tech. in CAD/CAM Robotics and Energy Technology & Management with 18 sanctioned intake in each specialization. Ph.D in full time and Self-finance/Part-time mode under various specializations of Mechanical Engineering is offered by the department. Our department has a distinguished record in both teaching and research. Faculty members have excellent academic credentials and are highly regarded. They have been conferred Ph.D from reputed Institutions of National importance. Several faculty members serve on the editorial boards of national and international journals, review technical articles for journals on a regular basis, and organize symposia and conferences.
