IEEE and Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, one of the premier non-affiliating, teaching and research University of U.P. State Govt., presents an organization fostering the innovative technocrats of the country, in the form of IEEE student branch. Founded in 1988 with the sincere efforts of the faculty as well the students, it is one of the one thousand six hundred students branches the world over. A branch started with a meager number of members today enjoys a membership near to two hundred.

The IEEE student branch, ever since its establishment has been working consistently to keep the members abreast with cutting edge technology and also it has always dedicated towards the enhancement of the personalities of those associated with it.

In pursuit of excellence and thereby making each one competent for the professional world, the student branch keeps its members engaged throughout the year by a string of events. The enthusiasm of being an IEEE member reaches its peak with techSRIJAN, a national level technical festival.

With activities and technical encouragements going round the year primarily brings the students community with the latest challenges being posed by the market and the industry, which they have to step into as soon as they complete their years in University.

The fact that the number of members is on a rise is the testimony to the fact that the IEEE student branch is gaining popularity and is one of the hunted grounds in University!
